Attorney Peter C. Wood, Jr.

Attorney Peter C. Wood, Jr. began his legal career practicing corporate litigation at several prominent firms, where he litigated complex class action and shareholder derivative action lawsuits in the Delaware Court of Chancery and throughout the United States.

Today, Attorney Wood specializes in employment law matters where workers’ rights are on the line, and exclusively represents plaintiffs. Specifically, Attorney Wood regularly represents individuals and groups in:

  • Wage and Hour Litigation – Including claims for unpaid overtime, off‑the‑clock work, employee misclassification, tip offenses, and minimum wage violations, under both the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.
  • Class and Collective Actions – Empowering workers as collective litigants in systemic claims.
  • Employment Discrimination Matters – Such as claims for discrimination based on age, disability, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and pregnancy; claims involving sexual harassment and sexual assault; and claims based on retaliation in response to engaging in protected activity.
Attorney Wood is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in these groups is limited to attorneys who have recovered million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, and fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.

Attorney Wood has obtained significant results for his clients in numerous cases, including:

  • A $2.65 million recovery on behalf of an employee who was catastrophically injured due to alleged defects in an industrial blender at her workplace.
  • A $2.2 million recovery for a group of employees targeted in a severe racially-motivated hostile work environment.
  • An $800,000+ sexual harassment recovery for an employee who alleged that she had been subjected to repeated unwanted sexual advances by a company executive, and terminated when she rejected the advances.
